Wet by Chance Carter

If you have ever wondered what men really think about women then this is the book for you. I love Chance Carter’s books but this one really caught my attention because what woman doesn’t want some insight into what really goes on in a guy’s mind when he thinks of us! That’s exactly what you get in this book.
The book is centered on Kane, the main character, and his diary where he writes his most intimate and explicit thoughts about the new woman in town, Meadow. Kane is a very private person and has been even more closed off for the past two years since he experienced a horrific tragedy and lost the woman he loved. He thought he could never have those feelings again until he sees Meadow.
Meadow has just gotten up the nerve to leave her husband who has been cheating on her for years. She wants to get as far away from him as possible so she gets in her car and drives until she ends up in the small town of Pismo Beach. She thinks she will just stay for the night and move on but something about the small town makes her feel at home. When she meets Kane sparks fly and while they feel a connection immediately they get off to a rocky start.
Finally, unable to deny the chemistry any longer the two share hot night of passion and experience an intense connection to each other that neither has ever experienced before. Will Kane be able to put away the pain of the past to have a future with Meadow? Will Meadow realize that not all men are like her ex-husband or will Kane be like every other guy she’s always known? Find out the answers to all these questions and more in this steamy romance.
I love a good steamy romance but it has to have a great story line to keep me interested and this book does all that and more. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good steamy romance with a great love story to go with it. I think when there is a great love story to go with it that makes the intimate scenes that much hotter just knowing they two characters are so in love.

I give this book 5 stars.
